March ’26 Sci-Fi Terrain Pack Preview – Ulthrix Hive (Part 1 of 2)

The March ’26 release for our Sci-Fi Terrain Membership marks the beginning of a two-part series set in Ulthrix Hive – a world drowned beneath a ravenous alien infestation, its surface smothered in writhing tendrils and pulsating growths as the ever-adapting swarm devours all life to fuel its endless expansion.

These supportless STL files are made for 28/32mm miniatures and designed to be fully playable for tabletop wargames and RPGs. Featuring highly detailed, printer-friendly designs, they’re perfect for both beginners and seasoned hobbyists alike.

This release brings you the first three terrain pieces that begin the Ulthrix Hive series. Let’s uncover what Part 1 has to offer.

Alien Hive

At the heart of Ulthrix Hive sprawls this pulsating alien nest, a swollen mass of sinew and slime ringed by writhing tendrils. From its quivering core, new horrors are birthed, spreading the infestation ever outward.

The Alien Hive is designed for dynamic battlefield layouts, with the central nest and its sprawling tentacles usable as standalone terrain pieces.

Whether clustered together as a dominant infestation node or separated to spread organic corruption across the board, each element adds tactical depth and unsettling atmosphere to your games.

Alien Spore Launcher

This grotesque spore launcher swells with pressurized sacs, primed to unleash corrosive seed-pods across the battlefield. Each violent discharge spreads the infestation, seeding fresh horrors wherever the spores take root.

Alien Egg Clusters

These bloated egg clusters throb beneath slick membranes, their pitted shells trembling with life. At any moment they may split open, spilling fresh spawn to swell the ranks of the relentless infestation.

These alien egg clusters make perfect scatter terrain, easily printed in multiples to blanket the battlefield in creeping infestation. Use them to thicken the hive’s presence, mark spawning zones, or serve as sinister objective markers that must be destroyed before they rupture.
