Glimmerstone Ridge – 3D Printable Terrain Set Now Available
In March 2025, we launched the first of six Kickstarter campaigns for the Glimmerstone Ridge terrain set.
Set in a world of glowing crystals, Glimmerstone Ridge is home to Elves who fiercely defend their realm in a maze of caves and rocky landscapes.
Designed for 28/32mm miniatures, the terrain is perfect for tabletop wargames and RPGs, with all STL files printing completely support-free.
If you missed the Kickstarters, the full set is now available on our website. You can also explore and purchase individual terrain pieces through the links below.
Part 1 – Ritual Outcrop & Crystal Crag
We kicked off by launching two terrain pieces – the Ritual Outcrop and Crystal Crag.
The Ritual Outcrop
The Ritual Outcrop is medium-sized, ancient ritual site carved from stone and infused with elven magic.
The Crystal Crag
The Crystal Crag is a smaller piece featuring massive magical crystals bursting through the rugged ridges.
Scatter Terrain Bundle
We also offered a scatter terrain bundle as an add-on across all six Kickstarters, featuring three unique pieces of scatter terrain.
Obelisk
The Obelisks are towering landmarks that guide elves through the maze-like ridge.
Crystal Clusters
The Crystal Clusters are razor-sharp crystal formations that pulse with latent magical energy.
Rocks
The Rocks are terrain that pose both obstacles and refuge.
Objective Markers
A set of six 40mm objective markers was also offered as a separate add-on for interested backers.
Part 2 – Cave Entrance & Ruined Portal
We continued by launching another two terrain pieces – the Cave Entrance and Ruined Portal.
The Cave Entrance
The Cave Entrance is a medium sized piece, where elven guardians vigilantly defend the entrances to the vast cave system.
The Ruined Portal
The Ruined Portal is a smaller piece, where the shifting landscape often leaves portals damaged and unstable.
Part 3 – The Enchanted Bridge
In Part 3, we unveiled a standalone piece of modular terrain.
The Enchanted Bridge
The Enchanted Bridge is a larger terrain piece that spans the perilous caverns, essential for safe passage.
Modular Roofs
We also included modular roof sections allowing the design to be changed. This roof removes the top crystals, letting your miniatures sit on top of the bridge.
Otherwise you can totally remove the crystals if you like.
Or if you prefer a shorter version, you can do that too!
Accessories
We introduced new accessories in this campaign, which were also made available as optional add-ons in all subsequent campaigns.
Coasters & Holders
Coasters & Holders were offered in three unique designs, both square and round, with matching holders that fit four or six coasters.
Dice Trays
Dice trays in square or round were also on offer to compliment the coasters.
Part 4 – The Aerial Outpost
We continued our journey with the release of another standalone piece of modular terrain, now offering even more options.
The Aerial Outpost
The Aerial Outpost is an elven stronghold that rises above the landscape, providing both protection and strategic advantage.
Modular Roofs
Two modular roof designs were offered that seamlessly swap out using a peg alignment system.
Monument
Sacred and age-old, the Monument radiates enchanted power.
The Monument also works as a standalone terrain piece, with or without the base extension.
Portal
These magical portals enable the elves to travel instantly across their realm.
The Portal is designed for standalone use as well, whether or not you include the base extension.
Part 5 – The Crystal Nexus
In part 5, we uncovered the central showcase piece for the whole terrain set – the colossal Crystal Nexus!
The Crystal Nexus
The Crystal Nexus is a huge terrain piece serving as a wellspring of immense magical power where Elven guardians draw and channel their arcane energy.
Part 6 – The Crystalspire Refuge
In the final chapter we revealed an intricate modular terrain system with endless possibilities!
The Crystalspire Refuge
The Crystalspire Refuge is a secret Elven sanctuary in crystal-lined stone, where ancient magic flows and guardians protect against unseen threats.
Modular Terrain System
With 127 unique pieces designed to connect effortlessly, it allows you to mix and match parts to create truly unique and inspiring terrain for your next wargaming or RPG adventure.
Wall Sections
Create wall sections with three stackable wall heights (15mm, 30mm, 60mm) connected by 2, 3, or 4-way links. Customize your design with crystals, rocks, windows and runes for some extra flair.
Buildings
Get creative and build different shape buildings like this Watchtower, which includes multiple floors, steps and ladders.
Strongholds
Go all out and construct something like this Stronghold, which integrates triple bay windows, buttresses and a swingable gate.
Conclusion
Launching the Glimmerstone Ridge terrain set across six Kickstarter campaigns was an incredible adventure, and we learned so much along the way!
A huge thank you to all our backers, especially those who supported us through every campaign.
We hope you’ve enjoyed the journey as much as we have, and most importantly, that you have fun printing, painting, and playing with the terrain!
